How do we create a conducive environment for Children participating in Sports?. This has always been a dilemma for many young coaches. What I have come to realize is that creating a conducive environmental for Children in Sports invloves keys factors, but not limited to;

  • 1. Safety - Safeguarding and protecting Children participating in Sports
  • 2. Qualified Coaches - Employ coaches who are trained not only in sports skills but also in child development and psychology. They should be able to foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
  • 3. Inclusivity: Create an environment where all children, regardless of their skill level, feel included and valued. Adapt activities to accommodate different abilities and ensure no child feels left out.
  • 4. Physical literacy - This is Child centered coaching and physical literacy
